Ghirardelli is a brand that goes hand in hand with the word "chocolate" and their story is legendary, all of which creates for a very successful brand. My client asked me to design ideas within the realm of the Ghirardelli brand structure for a hot, new microwave mug mix offering. At first this seemed like an easy task, however merging the notion of a rich, esteemed chocolatier with the quick (made in a minute), "DIY" baked treat put me to the test. See the results below.
